READY WASHINGTON VOICES
In February 2016, Puget Sound Educational Service District and Ready Washington partnered to launch a statewide teacher voices network called CORElaborate WA. We believe teacher leadership is essential for successful, large-scale systemic change in education. We also believe that social media is an effective means of helping to sustain change in instructional practice.
In 2016, CORElaborate WA is comprised of 30 teachers from around the state: 19 bloggers, 11 tweeters. The 30 teacher leaders represent all nine education service district regions in Washington. The program will expand to about 50 teachers in 2017. The application process begins in fall 2016.
